2013 to December 2016: 14,284.89 USD, 1,971.68 CAD, and 20,000,000 VND.
On 9 January 2017, the Bùi Trọng
Chương scholarship fund received a donation of 100 million VND (equivalent to
5,900 CAD or 4,429 USD) from Mr. Dương Xuân Giao and Mrs.
Tam Quan Thiên Trang. This is the biggest donation from one source to the
scholarship fund since June 2013. This donation has been acknowledged under
“Donations” and has been invested as a part of the scholarship endowment. This
donation will be included in the 2017 financial report.
(2) 535 CAD = 400 USD. This amount,
together with 3,100 USD from the USD account, brings the total new investment in 2016 to 3,500 USD.
(3) Two members of the management
committee of the Bùi Trọng Chương scholarship fund (Mr. Lương Văn Hy and Mr. Trần
Hữu Phúc Tiến) donated 10,000,000 VND each in order to create two additional
scholarships and to make it possible for the scholarship fund to award 3
scholarships in the academic year 2016-17.
