At the renowned Petrus Truong Vinh
Ky - Le Hong Phong high school in Saigon, Mr. Bui Trong Chuong (1926-2013) was one
of the few teachers who spent his entire teaching career (1953-1983)
there. He was one of the most highly respected and beloved teacher thanks
to his dedication and devotion to teaching, and his great care for students. Although
he has passed away, his image still shines in the hearts and
minds of thousands of his former students.
The Bui Trong Chuong Scholarship Fund has been established in order to provide scholarships to talented and financially disadvantaged students at the high school where Mr. Bui Trong Chuong spent his entire teaching career. It is a symbol of love and respect from his former students.
To Mr. Bui Trong Chuong’s colleagues, friends, former students and to other prospective benefactors, we would like to ask you to join us in encouraging and supporting the talented young students at Petrus Truong Vinh Ky - Le Hong Phong High School in the spirit of Mr. Bui Trong Chuong .
