The Financial Report of Bui Trong Chuong Scholarship Fund is issued once a year, to report all revenues and expenses of the Fund, as of December 31 of that year. This is the first report (No. 1), posted on http://btc-fund.blogspot.ca/search/label/Announcements.
1 All donations are reported regularly in page Donations, which is updated as soon as the donations are deposited to the Royal Bank of Canada account Bui Trong Chuong Scholarship Fund. As of December 31, 2013, the total of donations is USD 9,284.89 and CAD 200.
2 On December 6, 2013, USD 9.100 was invested and on December 6, 2014, the fund will receive the first interest earned.
3 Currently, no interest earned.
4 On December 2, 2013 the first scholarship from Bui Trong Chuong Scholarship Fund worth $10 million (VN Dong) was awarded to Doan Chi Hang, a grade 12 student at Le Hong Phong High School, Saigon, (please see http://btc-fund.blogspot.ca/search/label/Recipient for further details. As previously mentioned in http://btc-fund.blogspot.ca/p/scholarship.html, a number of former students of Mr. Bui Trong Chuong donated (8 million VN Dong) and the Le Hong Phong High School added another 2 millionVN Dong for this first and special scholarship in the school year 2013 -2014. As a result, no proceeds from the fund was used for scholarship.
5 Bui Trong Chuong Scholarship Fund was registered as a Business Account. The bank applies charges fees for every deposit or withdrawal. As of December 31, 2013, the total bank charge is USD 21.01.
