Announcement No. 1 (May 20, 2013)
With the consent of Mr. Bui Trong Chuong’s family and the support of the Principal of Le Hong Phong high school and the Liaison Committee of Petrus Ky-Le Hong Phong Alumni, a group of former students of Mr. Bui Trong Chuong is raising fund for Bui Trong Chuong scholarships.
The Bui Trong Chuong scholarship fund is established in memory of Mr. Bui Trong Chuong (1926-2013) and his long teaching career at Petrus Ky - Le Hong Phong high school, as well as to help talented and financially disadvantaged students at the school where he spent his entire teaching career.
The Bui Trong Chuong Scholarship Fund is established as an endowment. Donations will be preserved and protected against inflation. A part of of the income from fund investments will be used to provide one or more annual scholarships to students at Le Hong Phong high school.
